Brooklyn-based developer(s) Jankos Group has completed constructed on the new residential development in Prospect Lefferts Garden neighborhood of Brooklyn. Designed by architect APM/PM Design & Consulting and interior designer(s) Adele Schachner Architecture & Interiors, 225-227 Winthrop has some beautiful, modern finishes. The building is set to receive a tax expectation through the 421a Tax Incentive program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

This amazing new affordable housing lottery is open as of today, March 27th, 2019! Eligible applicants who wish to apply for the affordable housing lottery should submit applications before April 17th, 2019.

225-227 Winthrop Street will rise four-stories about the ground and hold a total of sixteen units. 225-227 Winthrop Street has provided a total of six units to affordable housing rentals. The six units assigned to affordable housing rental are all a two-bedroom layout with the asking rent of $2,666. To qualify for the units applicants have to show they earn 130% of the area’s median income.

225-227 Winthrop offers its residents a variety of amazing amenities such as; an on-site laundry room, a children’s playroom and, a top of the line gym. Located just a short walk away from major transportation like subway lines 2, 5, B, Q and S along with several bus lines residents at 225-227 Winthrop will have an easy commute in and out of the neighborhood.

Household sizes who meet the income and family size criteria listed in the above chart are all welcome to apply through April 17th, 2019. Applicants who live in New York City will receive a general preference for the apartments. Qualified applicants will be required to meet an additional selection of criteria.
