A new development in the neighborhood of Belmont, Bronx is now offering affordable housing rentals. Developer(s) of 2406 Hoffman Street Apartments filed plans to build a 17,694-spare-foot building back in May of 2015 reports The Real Deal. Designed by architect Beyer Blinder Belle Architects 2406 Hoffman Street will stand 6-stories above the ground and hold a total of 10 units. Owner AB Capstone is expected to receive a Tax Exemption through the 421a Tax Incentive program of the New York City Department of Preservation and Development for the building. Therefore, 2406 Hoffman Street Apartments have assigned 3 units to the affordable housing lottery of New York City.
2406 Hoffman Street has assigned 3 two-bedroom units to affordable housing rentals. The rent for the units will be $2,100 per month. Applicants earning between $72,000 and $146,510 annually are welcome to apply through April 24th, 2019. 2406 Hoffman Street will offer its residents a wide variety of amenities such as an on-site laundry room, shared terraces and Wi-Fi in public areas. Conveniently located near major transportation lines like the Metro-North and subway lines D and B 2406 Hoffman calls for an easy commute all around NYC.
Applicants who meet the household and income requirements listed in the chart above may apply. Qualified applicants will be required to meet an additional selection of criteria. Applicants who live in New York City will be given a general preference for the apartments.
