The newly constructed development at 543 Albany Avenue is now accepting applications for affordable housing lottery! The New York YIMBY reports that Brooklyn based developer Candor Capital has filed for applications for a nine-unit, four-story building back in March of 2017. The developers of the building are seeking 421a Tax Abatement, therefore, the building will set aside 30% of it’s units to the affordable housing lottery.
543 Albany Avenue has is offering three out it’s nine units to affordable housing. The units range from one two-bedroom apartment to two three-bedroom apartments. Qualifying New Yorkers earning a total of 130% of the area’s median income are welcome to apply through April 15th, 2019. The asking rent for the affordable housing units will range from $2,100 per month for the two-bedroom unit and $2,500 per month for the three-bedroom units.
543 Albany Avenue offers it’s residents a wide range of top of the line amenities. Some of which include an on-site laundry room, rooftop terrace, stainless steel appliances and, a lounge.
