New Affordable Housing Lottery in Bedford Stuyvesant: 179 Throop Ave

A development by Comunlife and the Woodhull Residence at 179 Throop Avenue is now available. On August 16, 2018, this Bedford Stuyvesant affordable housing lottery launched. Eligible applicants that wish to apply for this affordable housing lottery should submit applications before October 16, 2018.

This building contains 89 studio units total. In addition to multi-purpose community room, community kitchen, on-site laundry, bike storage and computer room, Comunilife also offer social services on site. This property has easy access to J, M, Z and G trains and many other Brooklyn-bound buses. Furthermore, there is also a 2,400-square-foot front yard and backyard along Park and Throop Avenues.

There are 35  studio units available for the lottery with monthly rent at $746 and $903. Applicants with household size of 1 person with incomes between $27,463-$43,860 are eligible to apply.
