The new development at 2175 Clarendon Road in Prospect Lefferts Garden in Brooklyn is offering affordable housing rentals. Developer and owner Daniel Vislocky filed plans for the new construction in January of 2015, reports TheRealDeal. 2175 Clarendon Road is seeking 421a tax abatement therefore, the building has assigned 30% of its units to the Affordable Housing Lottery of New York.
2175 Clarendon Road will rise eight-stories from the ground and hold a total of 28 units, 9 of which are assigned to affordable housing rentals. The affordable housing rentals will range from studios to one-bedrooms and mostly two-bedroom apartments. Families and individuals earning up to 130% of the area’s median incomes are all welcome to apply through April 29th, 2019.

Families and individuals who meet the income and household size requirements listed in the above chart are all welcome to apply. Qualified application will be required to meet additional criteria. Applicants who live in New York City will receive a general preference for the units.
