New Affordable Housing Lottery in Chelsea: 425 W 18th St

On July 26, 2018, a new Chelsea affordable housing lottery launched at 425 W 18th St.

Eligible applicants that wish to apply for this affordable housing lottery should submit applications before September 24, 2018.

The lottery for 159-new affordable housing units in West Chelsea at 425 West 18th Street is currently open. Construction by the New York City Housing Authority on the 18-story building is underway. Therefore, this project is part of a 2006 rezoning.

Studios, 1-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms are part of the development. Rents vary from $702 to $2,132 per month. 1-bedrooms range from $753 to $2,674 per month. 2-bedrooms range from $910 to $3,216 per month. In addition, the development plans to include amenities such as a roof deck, laundry room and community room.
